October - November

In science, we have been learning about the force friction! After learning the theory behind it, we decided to investigate it!

We used newton meters to measure the friction as we dragged our shoes across a surface. Ask your child why certain shoes created more friction than others.

September - October

Linking with out topic 'A Wonderful World' and our learning about recycling, we created junk model animals using recyclable materials!

We worked in groups of 4 to plan, design and create an animals using the recyclable materials that were available to us (once again - thank you to everyone that was able to send things in!)

We worked collaboratively, discussing and reassessing our models as we went - it was all about team work!

It was wonderful to see everyone working together - and the end creations are spectacular!
