Online Safety updates

Some parents have spoken to us recently about games and apps and whether they are suitable for their children. Some games allow strangers to contact and speak to children online, but often we may not be aware of this. 

The NSPCC and O2 provide a really useful website called 'Net Aware'. You can type in the name of any app, website or game and it gives information about it.

It is vital that you know which sites your children are visiting and you remind them never to give personal information to anyone online. If they see anything which makes them uncomfortable, they should tell you straight away.
